Reflecting on seven years since founding ICI Fund, here is some of what I learned:

🍰 It’s All About People: From partners and entrepreneurs to investors, co-investors, and portfolio clients, everyone plays a vital role in my journey and success. NEVER compromise on people.

🍰 Transparency is Key: Whether with partners, investors, or entrepreneurs, being open about the good, bad, and ugly helps us manage everything effectively.

🍰 Embrace Vulnerability: Being open and vulnerable allows entrepreneurs to see me as a human being, not just an investor, fostering authentic relationships.

🍰 Be Helpful Always: Offer help to anyone at any time.

🍰 Stay Humble: There’s always room for self-improvement and growth.

🍰 Accept Criticism: Not everyone will like me, and that’s okay. Balancing multiple tasks means some will be dissatisfied, but I’ve learned to handle criticism constructively.

🍰 Follow Your Passion: Pursue your passions relentlessly, and everything else will follow.
